Tasks

• Teaching, playing, stimulating children at placement
• Teaching children how to feed themselves, encourage movement, help with speech exercises and programmes, teaching children and young people about self care routines
• General medical treatments and medical/hygiene advice

Special Conditions

• Must be over 18 years of age with clean police record from home country
• The work can be very physical and emotionally draining
• Volunteers need to be emotionally stable and mature
• Must be willing to work alongside and take orders from the center's staff when working with the children
• Some placements require experience or students on an elective to do certain tasks such as counselling
