This program is a research based sensory integration treatment approach that combines the therapeutic benefits of music with sound technology. This program utilizes electronically modified music programs to highlight parts of the sound spectrum that naturally trigger attention and activate body movement. TL is used in conjunction with sensory integration therapy and has been shown accelerate progress toward therapeutic goals. Each program is individualized through assessment and bi-weekly monitoring throughout the duration of the program. This is a home program. A minimum of 12 weeks is required to complete the program although some children will require additional programming. A child is required to have listening time 2 times/day for 20-30 minutes, 5-7 days per week. Music programs are changed every 2 weeks to address the child’s specific needs.
